Terms of use

These terms apply to the KeepCallsSafe app, provided by Martin Scherbaum, Ireland (support@keepcallssafe.com). By using the app you agree to them. They do not limit any rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

The service

KeepCallsSafe rejects incoming calls according to the rules you choose, for example calls from hidden numbers or from international numbers that are not in your contacts. Calls from people in your contacts and numbers you have chosen to always allow are not blocked.

Subscription and free trial

• Protection requires a subscription bought through Google Play. New subscribers may get a free trial; its length and the price after it are shown in the app and by Google Play before you confirm.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before, in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. If you cancel later, protection continues until the end of the period you have paid for and then stops.
• We may change the price for new subscribers. For existing subscribers, any change takes effect only from a later renewal and after Google Play has notified you as its rules require.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.

Limitations

• What the app can block depends on your phone, its Android version and your mobile network. We cannot guarantee that every unwanted call is blocked, or that the app works on every device.
• A blocked call does not ring, so you may miss a call you wanted. You can switch any rule off, allow a number, and see blocked calls in the app at any time.
• The app is not a substitute for emergency services or for the protections offered by your network operator.

Liability

We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for missed calls resulting from the rules you have chosen. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
